Zayn was about to get into the car when he noticed that Jombo's car had pulled up as well. Right then, Thompson wheeled Jombo out while Randy stayed at the side.
"Where is everyone going?" asked Zayn.
"I'm picking Josh and Venus up from school, " said Jombo.
"Isn't it a little too early? It's only a little after two, " said Zayn after he checked his watch.
"There's an open class today, so I thought I'd go listen in. Besides, I can take this opportunity to interact with the principal as well, " explained Jombo, who cared deeply about the kids' education. "It'll be time to pick them up once the class is over."
"Alright, " said Zayn. He helped Jombo into the car before crouching down to pick Randy up, intending to carry him into the car. However, Randy informed, "I'm not going. I have a science class this afternoon."
"Okay, then stay home and be good, " said Zayn. He stroked the kid's head before leaving.
"Bye, Daddy. Bye, Great-grandpa, " said Randy while waving goodbye to the others.
"Randy, " called out Jombo after he rolled down the window and popped his head out. "If Josh and Venus want to go to Fairytale Land after class, I will send someone to take you there to meet up with them."
"Okay, " answered Randy while he watched everyone leave.
As the two cars slowly drove out of the place, Randy scanned his surroundings and noted that over half of the subordinates were gone. The security is not as tight now, so this is the perfect opportunity to carry out the mission.
He then got back to his room and sent a text message to Josh's smartwatch: Text me after you get off class.
Then, Randy started prepping.
The eagle destroyed Randy's second mechanical dove the last time around, so Randy invented a brand new weapon—the multipurpose miniature camera!
The multipurpose miniature camera was the size of a bean and was placed on Dori's head. There was a software that linked the device to Randy's phone and shared the video in real-time. All Randy had to do was open the application, and he could see everything the camera captured.
To top it all off, the multipurpose miniature camera could turn around and had no blind spots. It was not restricted to capturing videos from a fixed spot.
Randy placed Dori on his study desk and whispered to it, "Dori, we're counting on you to locate mommy."
"Mommy! Mommy!" called out Dori. It seemed excited upon hearing that word.
"Go!" ordered Randy as he opened the window and let Dori out.
Dori flapped its wings and flew away.
The bodyguards saw the bird, but they paid no attention to it.
Randy opened the application on his phone right away. Good, Dori is flying toward the Northridge region.
I made the right choice to stay home the past few days to train Dori and get it accustomed to the navigation function on the camera. If everything goes well, it will now follow the device's lead to Northridge…
Randy was a little excited about it. His new invention was a success, and he planned to slip out of the house later to go to Northridge. Who knows? Maybe Mommy is right there!
Randy was scheming when his smartwatch suddenly vibrated. Seeing that it was a call from Josh, Randy quickly answered, "Hello?"
"Randy, were you looking for me?" asked Josh. He was in a noisy spot, and it was obvious that he was still in the classroom.
"Find a quiet spot and listen carefully, " instructed Randy.
"Hang on, " replied Josh. He knew that something serious had happened when he heard that tone, so he quickly sneaked to the top floor and said, "There's no one here. You can speak freely now."
"Daddy is out on a business trip, and Great-grandpa has gone to pick you two up. I am initiating Project Mommy now…"
"On your own? Take Venus and I with you!"
"Of course we're doing this together. That is why I am assigning tasks to the two of you now."
"Cool, alright. Tell me, " said Josh excitedly.
"When Great-grandpa comes to pick the two of you up, tell him that you guys want to go to Fairytale Land. He will make a call to have someone send me over. Then I will sneak away while I'm on my way. You and Venus are to stall Great-grandpa for as long as you can. Do NOT let him come back or send his men to look for me. Understand?"
