Griffin smiled and replied, "She went to a saloon to get her hair done. Is there a problem?"
"She's making her hair? Is that what she told you?", Griffin asked.
"Yes, that's what she said!", Griffin replied.
"And you believed her?", Chris asked.
"Where are you going to with this?", Griffin asked sounding irritated.
"hmmm... Alright then, here's the truth. I just saw Lilian in a BMW store with a man named San Dan, hugging and calling him dear. I think she seems to be cheating", Chris replied.
"That can't be!", Griffin replied.
"Lilian would'nt do such! She's not like that. Are you sure she was the one you saw?", Griffin asked.
"I have no doubt! She was the one!", Chris replied.
"I still don't believe it. Chris, we are close friends, but that doesn't give you the right to say bad things about my wife!", Griffin replied.
"Come on Griffin, trust me! Your wife is with someone else, and the guy promised to ger her a BMW x6. She just went with him to prepare for the evening. She is going to break up with you when she get back! As a friend, I advise you get prepared for it!", Chris said to him.
Before he could utter a word, Chris continued, "Right now while you still can, I advise you take the painting I gave to you and keep it safe, so you can have something to come back to when she kicks you out of the place. But if you still don't believe me, I am afraid I can't help you avert the problem I see coming!"
"Chris would you stop talking rubbbish! Lilian is my fiance, I know her better than you, she would never betray me! If you dare lie against her again, our friendship is be over!", Griffin said angered.
On hearing this, Chris couldn't help but frown, "Okay then, I have done my part as a friend to warn about an upcoming danger. So it's up to you now, all I can say is good luck!", Chris said and ended the call.
Just then, the Manager of the BMW store knocked his glass window, "Sir, is the car okay for you?", he asked.
Chris smiled and replied with a nod, "it's okay, go get me a new one from your store house, I'll take it to go!", he added.
On hearing this, the manager's brows went up, "Don't worry sir, I'll get someone to go pick up the car!", he replied.
And in no time, there came a black BMW 530 driven by a staff. Chris quickly swiped his card to pay and walked there to drive it away.
He folded his bike, stuffed it in the car's boot and drove off.
As he went back, he received a call from his parents-in-law, asking if he was back.
When Chris arrived, he realized that had actually been waiting for him downstairs.
When his father-in-law saw the car, he was amazed. He walked around it a couple of times, "Very good car, very good! I never thought I was going to own a BMW!", he added.
"Dad, you might even own a Rolls Royce some day!", Chris said with a smile.
The fathe-in-law began to laugh, "That is dependent on your ability!", he said to Chris.
His mother-in-law, Sarah on the other hand was also very happy, her behaviour towards Chris had changed drastically.
The father-in-law quickly got into the car for a test drive.
When he returned, he said to Chris, "This is a really nice car, I like how comfortable it is, but it's too long and not easy to handle. Chris you are going to be my driver this afternoon, I have an appointment with someone."
Chris nodded and replied, "ok dad!"
"When you get back, you are going to take me to have tea with my friends! So they can also see that I was picked up by a BMW!", Sarah said.
"Okay mom!", Chris replied.
