On hearing Chris's words, his father and mother-in-law began to laugh.
Little did the father know that he just missed a chance to own a BMW 760.
Nora on the other hand she was quite worried. When she was done taking her bath, she went to Chris.
"Do you really have the money to purchase the car? I still have some money of my own here, you can make use of it if you want", she said to him.
"Nora, don't worry, at least this way I am a little bit more useful", he replied.
"I am really sorry, I really wasn't expecting my parents to do such a thing", she apologized.
"What are you saying, your dad and mom are also my dad and mom, and it is right to honour them!", Chris replied.
After saying that, he laid on the floor and smiled, "Don't you worry, I'll buy another one tomorrow morning!", he replied.
Nora was moved my Chris's generousity, even though he didn't seem to have much. "Thank you!", she said.
"Nora, why are you still doing this? Stop being polite with your husband! And besides, I already told you they are also my parents", Chris replied.
"Won't you be cold at night sleeping on the ground?", Nora asked as her face blushed red.
"Don't worry Nora, it's not cold at all!", Chris replied.
"If it's not cold, then why don't you just fall asleep! Pig-head!", Nora groaned.
She wants this pig-head to sleep in the bed, but the pig-head wasn't getting the message.
Chris soon realized, "Oh, how could have been so hard skinned earlier? It just started getting cold, infact I am shivering!", Chris said.
"If it is cold, why don't you get yourself a blanket?!", Nora said angry.
"Hey!", Chris called as he suddenly became depressed.
After a while, he called out again.
"But Nora, it's getting alot more cold down here, I am shaking so bad!", he added.
Nora who was still angry ignored him. After a short while, she kicked down a blanket, "How cold can it be on a summer night? If it gets too cold, I'll just find you a jacket!", Nora replied.
Chris had become desperate, however, it was obvious he had already missed the opportunity to get on the bed with his wife.
The next morning, Nora got prepared and went to work really early.
Chris had breakfast made for her and when they were done eating, he gave her the keys to the BMW and said, "Why dont you drive to the company today?"
"How can I drive a car you bought? It's yours!", Nora replied.
"What's wrong with that? Aren't you my wife? And besides, the car was purchased for you not me!", he replied.
"Thank you!", she said gratefully.
When she was done talking, she took the BMW's keys.
The jealous father-in-law who watched them talk about the car yelled, "Chris! You promised you were going to get me a car today, or have you forgetten?!"
"I am here waiting for you! don't forget you said it was a BMW 530, don't buy a wrong model!", he yelled some more with a smile he could not hide.
On hearing this, Chris was amused for a while, "Don't you worry dad, I'll get you the BMW 530!", he replied and followed his wife down the stairs.
When he got to the car, he brought out his bike from the truck.
So Nora drove the BMW to work, while he rode his bike to the BMW 4s shop!
On his way to the BMW 4s store, he inadvertently passed the Audi store, and some who recognized him saw him.
