For a while, the entire Hillsprings discussed this grand wedding.
But none knew the mysterious prince and princess.
Chris simply got into his BMW 760 whose logo he had modified to a 520 and drove his wife home.
While he drove home, Nora was still really happy, her mind was still occupied with the happenings at the Sky garden.
"But Chris, how could you have booked the Sky garden? That place has never agreed to a private reservation before, right?", She couldn't help but ask.
Chris smile lightly and replied, "the truth is, a senior executive in the Shangri-La is a really good friend of mine, we were both in the orphanage together. We both experienced tough times together. I usually shared half steamed bun with him back then, so when I came to him for help, he was more than willing to help me out."
Nora replied with a nod, "so that's how it is? Why is this the first time I am hearing of this?", She asked.
"Growing up in the orphanage, I made so many friends, even if I were to talk about them for 3 days straight, I won't be done talking about them. And besides, I thought you were not interested in such", Chris replied.
"Chris, don't say that. You are my husband, it is only natural for me to be interested in everything that has happened to you", Nora said.
"Then you'll hear some more", Chris replied.
"That's good", she replied.
They finally arrived at the house. Chris parked the car and went down from it with Nora.
They were just in time to meet his parents-in-law, as they too arrived home.
On seeing them, the mother-in-law was shocked, "where did this BMW come from?", She asked.
When the father-in-law looked as well, he too was shocked.
"Wow! A BMW? You bought a new car? A big one infact!", He said surprised.
"Dad, Mom! I wasn't the one that bought it, it was all Chris!", She hurriedly replied.
"Chris?", The father-in-law asked with a frown, "Chris where did you get the money to purchase this? Is it ours?", He asked.
"Absolutely not dad, I purchased it with my own money", Chris replied quickly.
Sarah pulled her husband as they went around the car, "is that so! He eats and lives with us, and saves enough money to buy a BMW! And don't know how to honor us, what a white-eyed wolf!", She said as she continued going around.
Nora immediately interposed, "don't say that mom!"
"How dare him buy a BMW 520? Look at him, Chris's level is not even up to the BMW's in the 3 series!", The father-in-law jealousy said.
"Can you see your dad, he doesn't have a car! And half of his body is about to give way into the soil. If you don't let him experience it, he may never experience it till he dies!", Sarah said coldly.
"So give this car to your dad!", The mother-in-law said agressively.
Nora looked at Chris and asked tentatively "Chris, is that okay by you?"
Chris thought of it for a while, but this wasn't a BMW 520, but a 760!
And the truth was that Nora's old dad is just stingy. He is also not given a face in the Bromwick family. Giving a BMW 760 to him is extremely wasteful.

"Do you have the money to get a 530?", Sarah asked with a frown.
"I only paid a down payment for this one, so I still have some money left. Don't you worry, first thing tomorrow morning, I'll go get you a 530!", Chris replied.
