Jombo wavered as it was hard for him to resist the temptation of spending more time with the kids. Just then, Dori flew toward him and squawked, "Stay! Stay!"
"See, now even Dori wants you to stay!" Venus beckoned to Dori. "Dori, come here. Call Great-grandpa!"
Dori repeated after Venus, "Great-grandpa! Great-grandpa!"
"Haha!" Jombo gave a hearty laugh. "Fine, I'll stay for dinner."
Having forgotten that she was holding Dori in her arms, Venus raised her hands in the air and cheered, "Hooray!"
As a result, Dori fell into Jombo's arms. Its head was spinning as it rolled its eyes, squawking, "I'm drunk! I'm drunk!"
"Hahaha…"
All of them burst into gales of laughter, amused by Dori's cute reaction.
As for Zayn, the man was smiling like a Cheshire cat. He knew his grandpa couldn't say no to the kids.
Soon after, Benard hurried to the kitchen to have Mrs. Bolistin prepare some of Jombo's favorite dishes.
Mrs. Bolistin whispered at him, "I've already had them on the menu. Mr. Zayn told me Mr. Giblo would stay for dinner."
Benard gave his forehead a slap. "Ah, I should be more mindful next time."
In the meantime, Zayn was talking to the kids, "You guys can play with great-grandpa first. Dinner will be ready in half an hour."
The kids answered, "Okay, daddy!"
Randy was thoughtful enough to say, "Daddy, you and mommy can get changed and get some rest before we have dinner."
"That's right! Mommy looks tired." Venus blew her mother a kiss. "Mommy, go get some rest."
Josh tilted his head and reminded, "Mommy, remember to eat the hot cross bunnies before they get cold."
"I will." Carla grabbed two hot cross bunnies before she went upstairs with Zayn.
Jombo cast a glance at the two ascending the stairs. Then, he started playing with the kids in the living room. "Josh, come, show me your martial arts moves. I've never seen them before."
"Alright!"
Josh held the hot cross bunnies with his teeth and then did a few flips. After that, he demonstrated some strikes and punches.
His moves were inch-perfect and swift, just like his father when he was young.
Feeling glad, Jombo complimented, "Josh, you're really good at it."
"Great-grandpa…" Josh's hot cross bunnies dropped the moment he opened his mouth. In the blink of an eye, Dori took a plunge in the air and snatched the bun. Josh immediately went after him, yelling, "Dori! Give me back my hot cross bunny!"
Having learned from Josh's mistake, the clever Dori knew it shouldn't open its mouth. It flew around in the living room in circles before flying out of the window.
"You naughty Dori!" Josh ran out the door, hopping up and down to catch the parrot.
"Stop chasing Dori!" Randy called out from behind, "Josh, come back!"
"Boys are indeed childish." Venus held her head high, pouting.
Hearing her remark, Jombo, Thompson and the others burst into laughter.
Standing behind Jombo, Thompson spoke up, "Oh, how wonderful it is to have the whole family gather around, spending some lovely family moments together!"
Jombo's laughter died away after hearing Thompson's words. For a moment, he seemed to be deep in his thought. After some time, he returned to his senses and then beckoned Randy over. "Randy, show me your software."
Randy brought his tablet and clicked into the software he designed. "Great-grandpa, this software is specifically for kids under the age of six. Once the parents save their kids' fingerprints, they can easily track their location. If a kid gets lost, or if there are any emergencies, the system will immediately issue an alert and send the kid's location to the parents' device."
