"Game on?", I read out loud.
Is this girl for real?
Why on earth did she leave such a mess in my room?
"Gosh!", I stormed back into the bathroom and continued with my shower.
After taking my bath, I commenced with my normal skin care routine, a time for just me, my mirror and lights. During this time, I stay in my room, completely naked, with my window blinds and door shut so I could study and take good care of myself.
While I looked at the mirror, I heard a sound in the bathroom, which was just a few feets from where I was.
I really hope that window isn't broken by a dumb bird again! The last time dad happened, I had to share a room with Kareen.
Worst days ever!
She had tea parties with her imaginery friends, and always seemed to be staring at the abandoned house next door. It was so creepy.
Worst of all, the kind of songs she played were dark and scary.
Sometimes she would open her books and start chanting, and saying several scary words and all I can do is stare. At these times, even though I never believed what she did, there was usually an awkward presence I felt.
Those days were simply torture. Even before the window was fixed, I decided to move back to my room.
I really hope that isn't the case now.
I stood up and marched to the bathroom to see what it was.
There was no sign of a bird or a broken window even.
So what was that sound? I ignored and walked back to the room.
As soon as I stepped my foot out of the bathroom, the lights went out.
I stood at the door of the bathroom shocked. Why did the lights go out?
I decided to walk to window to the partially open the blind.
Suddenly my phone came on and went straight to my music gallery without anyone operating it.
"Uhh?", I exclaimed confused.
What's wrong with my phone? My attention was completely stolen by it, it stopped scrolling, and a song was played.
It was an old children's song which goes: "Row row, row your boat, gently down the stream, merily merily merily merily, life is but a dream!"
As soon as it started playing the phone went off, but was still playing the song.
I picked up the phone and tried to put it back on but it refused to stop, the song went on playing.
And was gradually getting faster.
"What's wrong with this phone!", I exclaimed as I continued battling with the phone.
Battling with my dumb phone was I, when i heard the sound of the running tap. "What?!", I exclaimed and turned to my bathroom.
I quickly rushed there and discovered the shower and tap was letting out water. I could have sworn I turned these things off; I didn't even make use of the tap.
Nevertheless, I rushed to where they were and tried to shut the tap first.
It seemed a little stuck. I still had the phone in my hand, still playing the same song in a creepy way, so I decided to go drop it back in the room.
When I got to the room, the lights were flashing on and off, and the song was a lot louder; I had no idea my phone could be this loud.
I ignored all of this, dropped my phone on the bed and rushed back to shut the tap and shower.
I know this is all kareen's doing, I am so going to end her life once i am done with this!
Unfortunately for me, the tap which I was struggling to shut go broken and the water gushed out even more, spraying on face and getting me wet.
"Gosh! I am done with this!"
I got out of the bathroom, collected my towel amidst the awkawrd and fast playing music at an abnormaly loud sound; and the lights blinking annoyingly, and walked out to the door, in attempt to meet and yell at Kareen.
Then I realized the worst and most annoying of them all. The door was shut.
"Kareen!!!!", I yelled in anger.
This annoying child!
I began to struggle with the handle, hoping that someone outside will hear me and come to my rescue, but no one came.
"F_ck!", I exclaimed as the handle broke.
"Oh my f_cking christ!", I screamed irritated.
The out pour of water in the bathroom had become so great that it had began to come into my room.
"No! No! No! No! No!!!", I yelled as I rushed into the bathroom, grabbed a bucket and began to bail into the toilet.
The more I bailed, the more the water poured. It became obvious that it was all a waste of time.
I left the bathroom and ran to the window, and discovered it was locked as well. I banged on it's glass, all to no avail.
At this point, I could feel the water creeping up my feet, so i quickly rushed to the bed, seeking for a higher ground from the water which may soon come in contact electricity and become dangerous.
I go on the bed and began to scream.
"Help!!!"
"Mom!!"
But no one seem to hear my screams.
Then I sat down shaking and holding my knees together.
How can kareen pull this off all on her own.
Who could possibly help her?
She has no friends what so ever, at least none that I am aware off.
Could the ghost be real?
As soon as the thought of the ghost flashed into my mind, the music became less aggressive, almost as though it heard what I was thinking. This made me alot more scared.
Suddenly, the song play became slower; some paces way slower than the original.
Then the light stopped blinking, and went out for a few seconds..... Then it abruptly came back on.
"Hello", I heard the voice of a small boy say from behind me.
On hearing the voice, my whole body froze solid.
"Katie", the voice called.
I put my hands on my head, hut my eyes and blurted out: "you are not real! You are not real! You can't be real!"
"But I am, Katie!", The voice replied.
I have never been that scared in my entire life.
"Kareen you win! You win! Please stop your pranks!", I cried and pleaded.
The once small voice went big and yelled: "I am not a prank!"
The lights shattered and the music stopped as his voice came up.
"Open your eyes!", The loud and horrorful voice screamed.
"No! Please no!", I cried.
To be continued.....
