As soon as they saw Medusa, all in the room panicked.
All behind June ran away except April who jumped in front of her brother screaming: "please!"
"Medusa!", I called and quickly grabbed her by the side of her plum body with both my hands.

"Sorry!", I said feeling guilty.
"Look what you made me do!", I said aloud looking at June whose eyes were still closed in fear.
On hearing my voice, he opened his eyes still shaking.
At this time April had gotten off her brother.
He said nothing as his eyes stared at my bloody hand and Medusa's bleeding body.
I sighed and walked away saying: "Let's go Medusa! I am sorry!"
Medusa sighed and followed obediently as everyone stared speechlessly.

Stepping out of the room, and walking through the hallway I was so p_ssed.
"Derick! What happened?!", Xender who was in the hallway asked as she looked at my bleeding hands.
I said nothing as I opened the door where we left her and Ms. Judith.
"Ms. Judith! Please help me!", I said pointing at Medusa with my bloody hand.
"What happened?!", Ms. Judith asked.
"An accident!", I said and walked out.
Xender followed closely behind calling and holding my hand: "Derick!"
I stopped and turned to her and yelled: "What?!"
She looked at me with an obviously sad expression, said nothing and walked away.
Only then did I realize how impulsive I was just now.
"Xender…", I called softly.
At this time she had already hastily walked some distance away.
"Gosh!", I said p_ssed as I punched the wall.
To my surprise, the wooden walk broke.
I pulled my hands out of the wall and looked through the hole that had been created.
All in the room looked towards me in a daze.
It was June's room.
Without saying a word, I sighed and walked out of the medical center.

Standing in front of the river and thinking, I heard a voice say: "having a tough time?"
I turned back to see who it was.
It was the nurse from earlier, the one who seemingly did the laundry.
I continued looking at her as she walked closer.
She was about same height as Xender, with a fair skin and pronounced curves. Her hair was blonde, curly and short, having a somewhat cute appearance.
"I am Kira, a nurse…", she said as she walked beside me.
"What do you want?", I asked casually.
"What do you want?!", She asked back.
I was thrown back by her question. I opened my mouth a couple of times but couldn't find any words to reply.
"Is the river yours?", She asked as her initial politeness faded.
"I too came here to think just like you and only greeted you out of politeness!", She added rudely.
Suddenly, she began laugh out loud.
Seeing this, I became more confused. Is this girl insane.
"You should see your face!", She added laughing.
"I usually come here to relax as well dear!", She said and as she sat down backing the red waters.
"Let me help you!", She said now sitted on the floor.
"Sit!", The mad appearing girl said.
I looked at her still confused.
"I said sit!!", She commanded with a changed expression once again, this time pulling my hand forcefully.
I decided to go with the flow and sat like she did, backing the river.
"Now Lay back…", she said lying down on the sand and resting her by the bank where the water could come in contact with her head.
"Ahhhhhhh……", she exhaled heavily as she smiled.
"What you waiting for?", Her expression changed as she pulled me.
As soon as my back landed on the sand and my head came in contact with the water, I saw my mom.
"Derick, you are not old enough for this. You're just 10! Your hands are too small to hold a gun, your legs are too feeble to stand in front of these monsters; and your eyes are still too innocent to witness what they can do.", She said smiling at touching my face as I held unto her gun with some stress.
I quickly opened my eyes in shock.
