As soon as he heard this he was frozen solid.
The rest people around, were equally confused.
"What do you mean me?!", Sam asked slightly raising his voice.
"You swore on your daughter's life that I can get anything I want here, and you are not outside this place, or are you?", I asked with a playful expression.
"I… I… ", he stammered unable to say a thing for a moment.
"I am not a thing!", He added aggressively.
"Not sure you clarified what thing was before we made the bet!", I said as I spinned the keys to my BMW and sat on one of the stools in front of the bar.
"A shot of the finest for all of Sam's boys!", I said to the bartender.
The bartender glanced at the furious Sam and then turned to me added: "A shot's 10 bucks!"
"How many of Sam's boys are here?!", I asked looking at the brawny men behind Sam whose hearts had began to race; they were both excited and scared to make a move.
"None?!", I said looking at them as they looked at Sam who stood there stupid.
"Since you're not going to choose the thing you want, I suggest you leave this place while you still can!", Sam said walking towards me with a harsh and an anger full tone.
"Sam, Sam, Sam!", I said as I stroked the glass table, "haven't I told you that I choose you?! Or does your daughter's life mean so little to you?!"
As soon as my voice fell, Sam's heart leaped, obviously a motion prior a body reaction.
His knuckles tightened in less than a second, and a punch was thrown.
"Woah!!"
"How did he?!"
All who saw me dodge Sam's punch was amazed.
Sam who was also astonished quickly took back his fist.
"Do you know one thing I hate the most?!", I said as I placed my hand on the stool I was sitting on.
"Who are you?!", Sam said with a bit of fear in his voice.
"Someone you shouldn't double cross.", I replied with a fierce look.
"Hahahaha!", Sam suppressed his anger and began to laugh.
"Everyone out!", He added aloud and turned to look at the people around.
"Get them out!", He said to his men and turned to me.
"Caleb right?!"
"I have give it to you, you really are talented! I'll really hate to see such a talent get wasted on the streets. Why don't you drop your comedy skit and let's talk and strike a deal!", He added with a compromising smile.
"Why negotiate with and for my possession?!", I added looking at him like one who was dumb.
"I should negotiate with you, who belongs to me? And for what really? To replace Roger and play the games for you and make peanuts from my own dog?!", I added.
On hearing this, his brows furrowed and his expression became ugly.
"Go around!", He glanced at his men.
On seeing this, my expression became a lot more serious.
Beating up all these guys would definitely bring the police into this case; I don't want them investigating me.
The locals can, they can only go so far, but the police…
"Let's make this easy!", I said looking at Sam.
"When the next time you open your eyes
you are on the hospital bed, take it as a kind gesture from me to my dog, telling it not to bark at its owner!", I added.
"Hahahahaha! You're so funny! For a kid, you sure know how to make big statements!" Sam said as he looked at his subordinates, communicating to them with his eyes.
"I can tell that you are not a normal kid though, probably brought up in some military camp or something. But listen and listen good. This is Mistown, not your camp ground! Here we rule!", He said and gestured a motion with two of his fingers.
"Wait!!", I yelled.
And the brawny man about to attack, stopped in shock.
"I don't want this to get messy for no reason!"
"Just say it here and now that if you close your eyes and opened them in the hospital you are my dog!"
I added with a serious expression I slowly stood up from the stool I sat on.
"Hahaha! With all of us here, even if you are the leader of your camp, you can't make me wake up in the hospi…"
"Smash!!", All heard before Sam could finish his sentence.
"Boom!", The sound of a heavy man falling to the ground.
All that was left in my hand was a leg from the stool smashed on Sam's head.
The rest brawny men stared in shock at their leader on the floor.
"Is he dead?!"
"Call the ambulance!",
His worried men said.
"No!", I said as I let go of the stick in my hand.
"Get him up, I'll take him to the hospital…", I said as I walked towards the door.
The men watched me leave and for a moment couldn't utter a word.

I drove the lifeless looking Sam accompanied by 3 of his men to the hospital with the aid of their direction.
"Tell them, he slipped and fell.", I said as soon as I arrived at the hospital.
"Your boss was right about one thing, I am leader of a military organisation, that can study and wipe out an entire family with a word. So if any of this is leaked, Mistown is going to be some families less in one night!", I lied.
On hearing this, they nodded in fear and got down.
"Wait!", I called and they stopped immediately.
"You stay back!", I said openly waiting for the first person to ask back, "me?!"
"Me?!", One asked back as predicted.
"Yes you! Get in the car, I need your help on something!", I replied.
He looked a the rest of his colleagues and with a bit if hesitation, he finally got in.
To the rest, I gave them 300 bucks and then drove off with the guy in the copilot.
