Chapter 50 - Fifty

As they watched Mark and the others leave, all the students revealed contemptuous glances. Perhaps they didn't dare to show the disdain in their hearts when Mark was around, but behind his back, numerous students were still discontent.

It was clearly Mark who had organised the outing for the students in the class, but now he disregarded the feelings of others and took his lapdog with him, so how could the students in the class not have thoughts?

"Damn, really arrogant as hell!" Liam looked at Mark's back and cursed rather indignantly.

"Swearing again!" Tami glared at him in anger, and the dissatisfaction in her heart towards Mark was also vented on Liam's head.

Naive Liam, the big brother, simply did not dare to tussle with Tami, and could only heave a smile and look elsewhere.

"This Pemo student is really……" Helen shook her head slightly, out of her own cultivation, she didn't want to talk about others behind their backs, but the dissatisfaction in that look was already fully revealed.

"Forget it, go or stay, this is people's freedom, we can't control it!" Wendell shook his head and laughed, looking down on Mark even more. Originally, Wendell thought that Mark was somewhat capable, although he was flaunting his power on the basis of his family background, but coming from an official family, he should at least have some cultivation, but now it seems that he is just a useless second generation ancestor.

Compared to him, Wendell suddenly found that he was actually very great. If he could have enough power and capital again, Mark's little family history would become nothing in front of him.

A group of students took a break for about hours, fortunately there was a shop next to Tafator Shan, some students also paid for a few poker games, a group of students divided into several groups and played, the hours did not seem so long.

During this time Helen secretly asked Wendell if she would accompany him to get the money out, but Wendell refused. He didn't want Helen's such delicate skin to be exposed to the scorching sun. Thinking of this, he couldn't help but think of the spring light under Helen's skirt, and he couldn't help but feel another flutter in his heart!

Helen also seemed to realize that Wendell was doing it for her own good, so she couldn't help but feel a little touched in her heart, this little guy, he was quite caring!

By the time 4pm rolled around, the sun was no longer so hot and the students started to go home sparingly.

But Wendell was in no hurry to go back, because he hadn't thought about what to tell his mother about winning the lottery for no reason, and if he told her that he had won the lottery by buying a ticket, he didn't know if she would believe him!

And if he didn't tell her, Wendell would be even more upset in his heart. It was already hard enough for his mother to raise himself all these years, and now that he had a chance to make things easier for her, Wendell was naturally unwilling to see her continue to work hard.

You know, all these years, mother Helen Soumei's hard work was not only physical, but also pain in her heart. The identity of his own illegitimate son had made his mother bear the scolding of being unmarried and pregnant and having an unorthodox style, and I am afraid that in the eyes of many people in his hometown, his mother was an unorthodox woman.

Every time he thought of this, Wendell's heart was like a knife, but he was powerless to change it. He could only secretly vow to study hard and be filial to his mother when he became successful in the future.

Thinking of this, Wendell couldn't help but think of his ‘father' whom he had never met.

If that heartless man hadn't abandoned himself and his mother, how could his mother have suffered so much all these years?

Ever since he understreat, Wendell had often been able to hear his mother crying secretly under the covers at night, that heart-breaking pain that made Wendell hate the man who had abandoned his mother beyond measure!

But every time he asked for information about his father, his mother, Helen, would reprimand herself and then never mention the matter, which made Wendell helpless.

"Ruthless man, you don't owe me anything, but over the years, you owe your mother far too much!" Wendell secretly gritted his teeth, but the emotions in his heart were incredibly complicated, for that man, he both hated it bitterly and couldn't help but want to know things about him.

Who exactly was the father……? Wendell just knows that his surname should be with his father, because in the surrounding relatives or acquaintances, there is no one surnamed Silva, but, China is so big, there are too many people surnamed Silva……

"Crazy, what are you thinking about, it's time to go home!" Liam's voice interrupted Wendell's contemplation, "It's already dark, and all the students have left, so we should go back, right?"

Wendell nodded and smiled, "Let's go, let's go back!"

"Wendell, we won't be joining you guys, it will take us a while to get home from here!" Tami said softly, "Teacher Helen, take care on your way, be safe!"

"You guys too, see you on Monday!" Helen said with a smile like a flower.

Wendell was just about to speak, but he saw Liam giving him a wink one after another.

When Liam saw that he didn't understand what he meant, he pulled Wendell over in anger and said in a low voice, "Crazy, you're silly, my buddy is creating an opportunity for you, now hurry up and send my old sister home, slowly cultivate your feelings well, I'll just go and send Miss Helen's side!"

Who knows, although he could have lowered his voice, he was still heard by Tami and Helen.

Tami's pretty face was red with shame and she scolded, "Liam, what are you talking about, don't hurry up and go! Or else……"

As if Liam remembered something terrible, he panicked and showed a scared look, dropping a sentence, "Crazy, buddy, I'll leave first, see you later!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, he had already run out a long way away, leaving only Wendell to laugh bitterly.

Tami was too shy to meet Wendell's eyes, and only greeted Helen before hurrying away.

Helen looked at Wendell with a wry smile, secretly saying in her heart, so the girl this little guy liked was Tami. If the of them could really get together, they would really be an enviable little couple.

Helen thought of her own one again and couldn't help but reveal a sweet smile, wasn't the little couple in front of her a replica of herself and that one?

"Teacher Helen, let's go!" Wendell said with an awkward smile.

Helen snapped, "You little guy, what did you call me?"

Wendell smiled embarrassedly, "Sister Helen!"

"That's more like it!" Helen gave him a white look and laughed delicately, "Alright, let's not tease you anymore, let's go!"

Wendell scratched his head awkwardly and looked at Helen who was walking in style, helplessly following him.

"Little guy, the banks are all closed now, so you can't withdraw money. Are you that relieved that you put the money in my place?" Helen suddenly glanced back at Wendell and asked.

"At ease!" Wendell blurted out without hesitation.

"That's sixty thousand dollars, are you really that relieved that you're not afraid that I'll renege on the debt?" Helen smiled delicately, "Anyway, it was a lottery win, and that fat boss also paid the money directly to my card, even if I reneged on the debt, you can't do anything about it, are you that relieved? Then I'll really renege on my debt!"

Although he knew that Helen was joking, Wendell couldn't help but get serious and said solemnly, "Sister Mageta, to tell you the truth, this 60, 000 is almost an astronomical amount of money for me, and for our family as well. I'm not afraid to laugh at you, our family can't even get out a thousand dollars now, let alone sixty thousand. But I'd feel more comfortable putting it with you than in the bank!"

"Oh?" Helen looked at him in amazement, "Why?"

Wendell said seriously, "Because you care about me! I grew up being looked down upon and looked down upon by others, even my mother was looked down upon, and none of the people closest to me ever used to care about me. But you are different, although you may just be out of a kind of teacher's concern for students, but at the very least, I feel that kind of concern from you, and this kind of feeling, apart from my mother, only you have given me. So, it's not that I'm not afraid of you reneging on your debt or trusting you, but even if you take all the money, it's only natural, because you've shown me the feeling of being cared for, and that's something that no amount of money can buy back!"

Looking at Wendell's sincere and somewhat painful eyes, in a flash, Helen felt her heart being pulled hard and painful!
