Chapter 4(The master's conclusion)

The crowd was once again in an uproar.

The first man came and mentioned: "Luca Starion."

The second mentioned: "Luca Starion."

Only one of these people actually said Miguel's name. From the ratio, all could conclude that the child was Luca's.

Timothy who was still standing looked at this in shame, embarrassed that his own suggestion led to his demise.

"Sir Timothy, any other suggestions?", Lord Palmer asked sarcastically.

Timothy sat back down in shame.

"Had it not been for some of the policies we hold up here at Quaila, I would have had you banished!", Palmer said with a serious face and then turned to Kayla.

"Young lady, I ask you once again....", He added this time, getting up from his throne.

".... Who is responsible for this pregnancy?", He asked.

"Lord Palmer....", She said crying with her hand covering her mouth.

Everyone watched tensed and full of anticipation, because at this time, everyone was confused.

The boys claimed they weren't responsible; not many believed Miguel due to how promiscuous he was, but then the girl before them was Luca's girlfriend whom everyone knew very well. He seemed to love her so much so that even after he was advised to let her go, he refused. Everyone knew this, so how could this be done by his brother, Miguel? Then again, Miguel is irresponsible, but he has been irresponsible for way too long; why does he have to leave his seed in his own brother's girlfriend besides framing him.

And the innocent girl still testifies that.

But now, more of these Psychometry masters are saying the child belongs to "Luca."

So who is really responsible for this pregnancy?

Kayla looked at Miguel and then at Luca, cried some more and added: "...Lord Miguel is responsible My Lord."

On hearing this, Palmer clenched his fist tighter and turned to the expert bought by Mercury and angrily commanded: "Check!"

The man walked up to Kayla and place his hand on her tummy, afterwards, he nodded gently, sighed slightly and turned to Palmer.

"Lord Luca is written all over this girl.....", He spoke.

When the crowd heard this, they went wild.

Luca stood up with a confused expression and was unable to utter a word!

Miguel on the other hand felt a lot more joyed and so was his father, although neither of them facially expressed their joy.

A great multitude of those in the crowd even though they expected this outcome were still greatly displeased. They really hoped for the latter, a glimpse of hope that their prayers had been answered.

Miguel banished and after the death of their funny ruler, Palmer, Luca ascends the throne.

But all this was subverted by the Psychometry master.

All but Gregory, whom had expected and long planned for this outcome. He had already sent a few of his most trusted men to organize a place for his daughter and new son-in-law, Luca. So his expression remained fixed.

The old Psychometry master raised one of his hand up with his fist closed, signalling to the crowd to be quiet, he seemingly has other things to say.

The crowd who thought all hope was lost kept quiet expecting more from this Psychometry master.

"But! The child in her is indeed the seed of Lord Miguel Starion!", He spoke once again.
