After solving his mother-in-law's problem, she took the money and went to the bank with the cash for deposition, but Chris went home immediately.
When he got home and saw Nora's shoes at the door, he knew she was home, hence went straight to the bedroom.
When he entered the bedroom, he noticed the excitement on his wife's face as she ended the call.
"Nora, who were you talking to?", He asked curious.
"It's my girlfriend, Tesla Mong! Hope you still remember her.
"Remember her?", Kelvin replied nodding, "we used to study in the Hillsprings together. She from the daughter of the Geyon family is she?", Kelvin asked.
"Yes you are right!", Nora said, "Tesla's family is really good in Geyon!", Nora added.
"She's coming to Hillsprings to see you?", Chris asked her smiling.
"She's not just coming to see me, she's coming to work in Hillsprings!", Nora replied.
"Isn't she the daughter of the Geyon family, If she wasn't able to manage her family business, what job could she possibly hope to get here at Hillsprings?", Chris asked suspiciously.
"I really don't know. She said wanted to work at the Axel Group, but her reasons for that are still unknown to me", Nora replied.
Chris replied with a nod as he thought in his heart, even though the Geyon family are far behind the Arthur family, they were still quite powerful. Tesla didn't need to give up her family business to work at the Axel group.
What really was her reason for coming?
Just as Chris was thinking, a thought seemed to have flown into Nora's head, and she began to patt her forehead softly, "oh and Chris, I would be having a meeting with someone at the Axel Group tomorrow. So I can't go to the airport, so can you help go pick Tesla up? As well as take her out for a bit", Nora requested.
"Alright, I'll make arrangements for tomorrow!", Chris replied.
"Also, please don't be scared to spend money on her, you can have my bank card.", Nora replied as she passed the wallet to him.
"Don't worry Nora, I have a friend who recently opened a restaurant and I think it's pretty good.
When Nora left, Chris quickly brought out his phone and was about to text Marloy Smith to make reservation for him at the Shangri-La. But Shangri-La was meant as a surprise to his wife. It would be best to change the location.
So he quickly texted Overl Hong.
"I want you to help me host a banquet to entertain my friend at high-end hotel, anyone by but Shangri-La", Chris texted.
In no time reciced a reply from Overl Hong, "fear not sir, I have an entire mansion in my name. It is equally top notch. I will see to it that the best diamond boxes and services for your banquets are put in place", Overl Hong texted back.
Chris simply replied with an "okay".
And the following day, Nora spent her entire day at the Axel Group just as she had proposed.
While Chris called Stella, the Axel group's Vice-chairman, asking about Tesla's appointment.
Stella was really stunned to discover that Chris knew about the meeting. And it turned out that Tesla was applying for an administrative manager position. When they saw her resume, the board of directors admited her. And she had been appointed already for some days.
