I pulled him by his arm before he could get to the ground.
As far as I could hear, there was no one coming. Although the outside was a bit rowdy due to the movement of people from the mall outside.
I quickly pulled Chris into one of the rooms in the toilet, wore his clothes, took his wallet, and put my clothes in my bag.
After making a few adjustments on his outfit, I locked the door and then climbed to the next room, placed my bag there and climbed to the next.
At this time, I heard the sound of someone's footsteps, so I quickly pressed the flusher and walked out.
"Phew!", I exhaled as I walked out of the restroom waving my hand about my nose like one smelling somthing really fowl.
The oldman who just stepped in looked at me and then immediately at the handle of the first door and quick reached for it.
He twisted and turned but it refused to come open.
He quickly rushed to the next, did same but still same result.
"What's going on!", He exclaimed as he walked to the third. He was about to open it but suddenly looked at my face and the door; and afterwards he approached the next one.
After he entered, I quickly stepped out of the toilet and walked towards the counter believing that the control room is somewhere behind those walls.
I had been watching Chris ever since I had the plan the plan to this. I studied the way he walked, his common gestures and some other details to fool people into thinking I was him.
The rowdiness had greatly reduced, I could now hear the voice of a man; not so baritoned but had some depths in speaking.
I slowed down and began to listen.
"Have you located the boy?", he asked.
"No sir, he was not among those who left the restuarant.", someone replied.
"Where could he have gone? Didn't I ask you guys to monitor the cameras?!", the man spoke sounding furious.
"The place got too rowdy, we could barely see a thing...", he was replied.
"Look for him, he mustn't have gotten far. What about the item?", he asked.
"He was unable to get it sir; it is still locked up in the freezer!", he was replied.
"Let's go quickly...", the man added as he began to move along with some others.
As soon as I heard them coming, I quickly turned around, pulled a rag from my pocket and began to clean a table until they all came down.
A short fat man and his guards, all on suit, him included.
They all walked towards the mall.
As soon as I saw this, I dropped the rag and followed.
"Chris!", someone called from behind.
On hearing this, I stopped but said nothing.
"Where are you going? The manager asked all the staffs on mall shift to go home for the day!", the person added.
"I forgot something!", I mumbled and coughed to hide my voice.
"You what?!", she asked.
"I'll be right back!", I said as I hurriedly walked in.
F_ck, this girl must be highly suspicious. I have to get my box and fast.
The mall was now completely empty; occupied by just a few persons.
It was just me the short fat man and 4 of his gaurds which walked with him as they all approached the freezer.
I hid behind a one of the big shelves in the mall.
Bang!
"What was that?", the fat man asked and they all remained quiet.
"I said what was that?! Didn't I tell you guys to evacuate everyone from the mall?", he asked again.
"I'll go check it out!", one of them said as he left the pack.
The man who came walked and stood in front of the chopped meat I dropped on the floor, he looked at it then at the shelve from whence it fell from.
"Was this the mess the girl made?", the fat man asked seemingly now in front of the wines Mabel had fallen.
"Yes sir!", one replied him.
Brack!
I hit a portion of the gaurd's neck who had come to check out what fell with a technique I studied in martial arts and supported him as he fell.
I took his gun, tore a piece of his cloth which I used to wrap around my face an then walked towards them.
Pow!
I fell a bottle this time.
"What's that again?!", the fat man asked.
"Tohib!", one of the gaurds called. Seemingly refering to the one I knocked out.
"Tohib!!", he called again.
"Yes!", I replied trying to sound base like.
"What are you doing there!", he asked.
"I am uhh!", I spoke like one chewing something.
"Are you seriously eating somthing right now?!", the gaurd speaking spoke aggresively.
"I.... I...", I stammered.
"Is this Tohib guy joking with us?!", the fat man said angered.
"I'll go get him sir!", another said as he approached.
"2 down, 3 to go", I whispered as I waited for the gaurd coming.
As that one approached, I heard another footstep from one seemingly entering the mall.
"F_ck!", I muttered.
"Chris!", the girl from earlier called.
"Sh_t!"
