"This coincidence is becoming too frequent!", Jimmy said looking up at the bulb.
"Is it?", Kareen asked sarcastically.
She then placed a hand on Jimmy and said with a smile: "I don't think so Jimmy! The light is faulty! I accidentally hit it on my way out."
"But when ever I say gh……", before Jimmy completed his sentence Kareen forcefully tapped his back and said laughing: "Are you starting to believe in ghosts like my dumb sister?!"
Hearing Kareen laugh and mock him, Jimmy's expression changed.
He looked at me obviously feeling bad.
Just then, the door opened abruptly.
Then came Dad, mom, Chloe, her sister and a nurse into my room.
"You sure you're strong enough to leave?", Dad asked.
I nodded immediately.
I never liked the hospital. It's one of the reasons I can't consider being a nurse.
"Alright then, nurse everlyn, you heard my daughter!", Dad added.

I left the hospital with crutches.
After leaving the hospital, we went home.
By the time we got home, it was 6:23.
Present in the house is Dad, mom, Kareen, Jimmy, Chloe, her sister and me.
Aside mine, Kareen's, mom and dad's room, there was only one vacant room.
It was decided that Jimmy occupied that room for the mean time, while I and Kareen stay in my room and then Chloe and her sister stayed in the other.
After a bit of fuss from Kareen, we were dispatched to our rooms.
As soon as Kareen was done packing a bit of her stuff into my room, she shut the door and began to grumble.
"Why didn't they go to your room instead!", She grumbled some more.
"Oh relax, it's not like there's something special in your room…", I said laying on my bed.
She turned to me and said aloud angrily: "you have no idea what does girls can invoke on themselves!!"
As soon as she finished talking, we both remained quiet as we stared at ourselves.
"Something like?", I asked.
"Forget about it!", She said and walked out the room.
"Kareen!", I yelled as she walked out of the room.
What's up with this girl. A couple of days ago, she was all about this ghost thing, now she doesn't want to talk about it.
I thought until I fell asleep.

"Katie!", I heard mom call and opened my eyes. Only then did I realize that she had been knocking.
"Come in!", I said.
"Come open the door!", She said.
"It's locked?!", I asked surprised.
"Why would I knock for this long if it wasn't?!", Mom asked sounding p_ssed.
"Sorry, I am coming!*, I said and rolled out of the bed.
As soon as I stepped my feet on the floor, I fell immediately.
"Katie!", Mom yelled hearing the sound I made from falling.
"Kareen!!!", She screamed from the depth of her insides.
"Katie!", Kareen yelled as she rushed to where I was wrapped in a towel.
"Uh!", I uttered as I held my leg.
"Kareen come open the door!", Mom commanded.
Kareen stood up and rushed to the door, unlocked of and rushed back to where I was on the floor.
Mom quickly rushed in with a bowl spaghetti and orange juice in a tray.
She dropped them on the floor quickly and rushed to me.
"What happened?!", She asked worried.
"I forgot about my leg…", I said in pain.
On hearing me, she turned to Kareen and asked with a frown: "Kareen were you?!"
"The bathroom!", Kareen replied.
"What happened?!", Jimmy asked from the door as he rushed in.
"Quickly let's get her up!", He added.
And they picked me up on the bed.
"What happened?!", Jimmy asked again.
"Can you believe her, she forgot about her broken leg!", Mom said looking me.
"Ah!", Mom said holding her waist.
"Uh!", She added seemingly in pain.
"Mom!", Kareen said looking at her fearfully.
"Mom!", I too said from the bed where I sat.
"Mrs. Monrow!", Chloe's sister said from the door as they rushed in.
"Quickly, let's get her out!", She added.
Jimmy and Chloe's sister quickly put mom's arms over their shoulder and took her away.
"Mom…", I added crying helplessly on the bed where I sat.
"Katie! Call dad!", Kareen said as Jimmy and Chloe's sister took mom out the room.
"My phone!", I said trying to remember where I last saw it.
I turned to my bed head and there it was, unmoved since last night.
I quickly picked it up and called dad.
"Hello sweetie…", dad said seemingly smiling.
"Hello dad!", I said tensed.
"Yes Katie?!", His calm smiley tone changed in an instant.
"It's mom! Come quick!", I said crying.
"Katie, what's wrong?", He asked.
"She's been shouting in pain!", I added waiting for a response.
When I looked at my phone, dad had hung up.
After speaking, I turned around.
At this time, they had all left the room.
I quickly grabbed my crutches which I left in beside my bed and rushed out of the room.
Walking through the hallway I heard Kareen's voice from her room.
"Why are you doing this?!", She said crying.
"You are bridging the contract!", A voice replied seemingly also angry.
"I bridged the contract! Leave my family out of this!", She added.
The voice laughed and continued: "Kareen my dear, you know how I work, the teeth for a tooth, that has always been the rule! You know this."
"Please!", She begged.
"Stop begging like a child, you know what to do. If you don't, your dad will join them soon!", The voice went on.
"No, please, not my dad!", Kareen cried bitterly.
"Katie!", She yelled and rushed out of the room only run into me.
"What's going on?!", I asked with a stern expression.
"Call dad! Tell him to stay where he is! Ask him not to come!", She said panicking and crying.
"What's going on!", I asked again.
"Katie, please just do it!", Kareen cried some more.
"I left my phone in my room!", I replied.
Before I could say another word, Kareen had ran off.
I rushed behind her with my crutches.
When I stepped into the room. I saw her with my phone, expectantly putting it to her ear.
"The user you dailed is switched off, please leave a voice message!", The phone prompted.
"Didn't you just called dad?", Kareen asked.
"Yes, I just did", I replied.
As soon as my voice fell, Kareen knelt down and began to weep bitterly.
"Kareen, what are you not telling me?", I asked.
