After hanging up the phone, Derila looked through her address book and there was
one missed call from Daemon when she was on the plane.
This was the only one, and then there were no text messages or anything.
Derila hesitated to call him back, but when she thought about the fact that he met
with Penny yesterday and didn't explain anything to her, she didn't want to bother
explaining anything.
Thinking of this, Derila put her phone away, dragged her suitcase and walked out in
big strides.
"Ms.Feroma is it?"
At this moment, a few men in straight black suits stopped Derila's way, "We are
sent by Majesty to pick you up, this way please."
Before Derila came, William personally introduced her to the old king, who had
someone send her an invitation letter, and then she came to Danontand under the
name of a special doctor.
So it would be normal if someone from the old king came to pick her up now.
But Derila always felt that something was wrong and was about to ask for
clarification when the men were already attacking her back and forth, half-asking, half-
pushing her towards the car.
Derila immediately sensed that something was wrong and refused to get into the
car, and said alertly, "William said he was going to send someone to pick me up, I'd
better call and ask him first."
"No need, get in the car first." A bodyguard pushed Derila directly into the car.
Derila frowned and was about to fume, when a familiar voice came, "Dr. Feroma!"
She turned around and saw that it was Clark, followed by several court soldiers behind
him, as well as an elderly officer.
Clark bent down and saluted before smiling and saying, "Gentlemen, this is the special
doctor. Majesty has hired for our Highness, so I will take it straight back to you, so don't
bother."
He put himself in a very low position and gave the other side face.
It was not good for the men to be openly angry, but they also had a task to do, so they
forced themselves to say, "We are also under orders."
"Following orders? By whose orders?" The old officer stepped forward and questioned
coldly, "Did Majesty ask you to take this doctor to the palace? Why didn't I hear? Do you
want me to go and check again?"
When the men saw the old officer, they all turned pale, bowed their heads and hurried
away.
With a sigh of relief, Clark bowed to the old officer in gratitude, "Thank you, Mr.Silas!"
"His Majesty the King is too busy with his day to have the energy to deal with such trivial
matters, and I never thought that someone with a heart would exploit the situation. It is
good that you found me in time, otherwise it would have been a sin to delay His
Highness William's treatment." the Silas lamented helplessly.
"Fortunately you were there, otherwise…" Clark let out a long sigh.
"His Majesty is always concerned about His Highness's health." The Silas patted his
shoulder, "It's just that His Majesty is too old to take care of many things."
"I understood."
The two exchanged pleasantries, then that Silas left with his men, and gave Derila
a look before leaving.
"Ms.Feroma, I'm sorry for putting you through this, let's get in the car." Clark was afraid
that staying here for a long time would cause trouble, so he quickly took Derila to
the car and left.
"Looks like this wave of court battles hasn't stopped yet." Derila stared at the
rearview mirror and noticed that someone was following them from behind.
"Come on, let's go." Clark urged anxiously, then sighed helplessly, "These people,
they're pervasive, they simply don't give a d_mn."
"I'll do it." Derila switched places with the driver, "Navigate."
"Yes." That driver hurriedly entered the destination on the car navigation.
Derila started the car and flew out with one throttle.
That driver hadn't sat still and almost hit the windshield, and behind, Clark fell out of her
seat, terrified.
But Derila didn't care so much, speeding up the car, seeing the seams, driving the
car as fast as it could, and soon arrived at William's castle.
