Those who didn't know about the relationship between Luca and Kayla were enlightened right there and then.

And so the murmuring and sympathetic sigh amongst the crowd increased.

Majority of the Quailians loved Luca and so this was a big blow to them.

So many wished it was the reverse. When they heard that one from the Starion family they had concluded that it was the promiscuous Miguel, but who would have thought that it was the loved one Luca.

Some of those whom he had helped or had seen him help others were very sympathetic.

Especially those from the Phytillia clan, they were the most emotional in Quaila.

"Please My Lord!", Gregory said standing up.

"Show mercy, the woman in question happened to be one of my daughters, and we as a family.", He said looking around at those around him as they too stood up to support him.

Old Palmer looked at him and said: "Compensate...."

After speaking, he began to laugh aloud as everyone looked at him speechlessly.

They all knew that Luca was his least favorite son, but no one knew he hated him this much.

"We We", Gregory shuttered and realized that he really had nothing to offer to ease the punishment.

On seeing this, Palmer began to laugh some more.

"Father!", Miguel who sat on the other side also chuckled quietly.

As far as all was concerned, the case was solved.

All that they were waiting for was the pronouncement.

"Why are you laughing?", Zed Miner asked standing up.

Zed miner was way older than Palmer, he was one of the only ones whose experience and knowledge in his field exceeded that of Palmer's.

All's attention was drawn to this old man immediately.

"Haven't you seen the outcome?", He asked.

"My old friend Zed... Zed Always coming before Y. ", He said and only Miguel's laughter was loudly heard.

Some at this time had began to suspect that the father and son had conspired against Luca.

"You should know me by now Z... The outcomes are always known long before they come out as outcomes!", Palmer added and once again only he Miguel laughed aloud.

Zed stood looking at Palmer and for a moment he couldn't say a word. The thought at the back of his mind was : "What kind of man is this?"

"Trust me Z... If I wasn't good at precognition, you would have either be my advisor or the ruler of Quaila.", He added and then turned to Kayla.

"For procedure's sake Miguel....", Palmer said and the place suddenly became quiet.

"Yes father!", Miguel replied as he stood up.

"Is this one of your flings?", He asked.

"No father!", Miguel replied chuckling.

"Who is she to you?", He asked.

"She is nothing to me father!", Miguel replied.

The exclamation and pain was more felt by those in the Phytillia clan.

Kayla stood there shedding tears as she stared at Luca.

"Luca!", He called.

"Yes father", Luca replied as he stood up slowly.

"Is this one of your flings?", He asked with a serious expression.

"No father....", Luca replied.

This time, the crowd was in an uproar.

How come?

If Luca said he didn't do it and Miguel also claimed she meant nothing to him, who then did it?

"Who is she to you?", He asked.

"She's my friend", he replied.

The expression on Gregory's face instantly became ugly.

Not once nor twice has he seen this love birds hanging around Phytillia, also known as the Garden Kingdom, playing around with the flowers and trees. Swimming in it's blue waters.

So he was naturally displeased with Luca's statement.

"Friend Luca. Alright, what type of friend is she?.. A friend with benefit, girlfriend, best friend? What type Luca?", The playful Palmer asked.

".... Ex girlfriend...", He added.

As soon as he mentioned this, the crowd began to murmur again.

Gregory eased up a bit; he felt that Luca was tensed and so was looking for replies to make his sentence lenient. At this time, he had concluded in his heart that once Luca was banished, he would hide him in Phytillia.

"That sounds like a confession to me!", Palmer said looking at the crowd then at Miguel.

"I guess we have our culprit?!", Palmer said as he raised Luca's arm up like one who had won a competition.

"I didn't do it father!", Luca said trying to pull down his arm.

"What do you mean you didn't do it.... Isn't she your girlfriend? Who else could have done it?", Palmer asked as he let go of his arm with an irritatedly expression.

"I didn't do it....", He added.

"Hmmm....", Palmer exhaled heavily and turned to Kayla.

"Let's get this over with. Young lady, which of this handsome young men got you pregnant?", Palmer asked with a serious expression.
