Nora and family were out for dinner at Kempinski while Harry was moody at home.
When he saw the Axel Group's post, he became depressed. He felt it was impossible for Nora to get the contract, and yet, it took her about 30 minutes to get a 60million dollar contract. He remembered what he said the day before, and was ashamed. He slapped his face as he regreted what he said the day before.
And suddenly, his phone rang, it was Aaron, about to whine about the situation.
"Hello, Harry, what the f_ck's your problem?", He yelled as soon as Harry answered the call.
"I have been creating opportunities for you none stop to go after my cousin, but you decided to go behind my back to get the contract for her. Why do such to me?", He asked.
On hearing this Harry shook his head, "what the fuck man, I did nothing!", Harry replied.
"Harry, come on, don't lie to me. Did you sleep with my cousin?", Aaron asked.
Now Harry was too ashamed to say what really happened, he felt embarrassed for having nothing to do with Nora's contract. If he told the truth, it would show he wasn't compitent, wouldn't it?
So he decided a lie was best, "Yes, Aaron, I did it, I am sorry about that, I'll make it up to you when I can", he replied.
"Of course, I knew it!", Aaron said, "but Harry, Nora was a virgin, wasn't she? I doubt she's ever slept with that useless trash! You lucky dog, you got the jackpot.
Harry was showed and excited.
Damn! Nora Bromwick still undefiled!
Alright then, he could just tell everyone that he did it, in so doing, could create a problem between her and her husband.
As the mischievous thought went through his mind, he chuckled playfully, "yes Aaron, Nora was a virgin. She was damn tight and so cute, I really couldn't help it!", Harry said and began to laugh.
"If that's the case, please put me at the back of your mind, don't forget to let me know when something of benefit come around, okay bro?", Aaron's bitter voice was heard from the other end of the phone.
"Don't you worry bro!", Harry replied casually.
On ending Aaron's call, his own father called almost immediately.
"Harry, there's a problem! The Emgrad Group just terminated all our collaborated projects! Have you offended anyone lately?", His father said anxiously.
On hearing this, Harry immediately went numb.
Were his ears decieving him? Wouldn't this mean his family would loose alot?
"Dad what's really happening? And no I don't remember offending anyone! What about you?", Harry said in haste.
His father exhaled in an obvious disbelief. "Neither did I! Lately I have been in the office, so I hardly meet people even, how much more offend them..", his father replied.
"Dad, could it be that after taking charge, the new chairman is trying to do a reshuffle?", Harry suggested.
"Yeah! You right Harry!", His father replied now realizing. "Come to think of it, I haven't paid a visit to the new chairman since he was put in charge, and all the times I spoke to Stella yong about it, she always mentioned that the new chairman takes no visitors!", He added.
"What do we do then?", Harry asked and Mr. Miller became quiet as he thought of the situation. "Oh, of course! The Bromwick family banquet, they said the chairman's going to be there, we should seize the opportunity to see him!", Mr Miller said his plan.
"Alright then! Thomasorrow it is, we'll go together", Harry replied.
The following day, all the Bromwick house were extremely excited. Tonight marked a very important point in their family.
Just overnight, the words about the Bromwick's contract win with the Axel Group and the supposed appearance of the Axel Group chairman at their banquet had gone round the Hillsprings.
For the banquet, Chris wore the most expensive suit he had, and found his way to the hotel where the banquet was hosted.
On arriving at the hotel's entrance, Chris got down from the car that brought him. A porsche suddenly parked in front of him.
And coming out of it, was Harry. He wore a well tailored expensive suit, his hairstyle also looking really cool.
A waiter hastenly walked to where he was and respectfully greeted him.
At this time, Harry had seen Chris. He looked at Chris from the top of his head down to his shoes, "where did you get your counterfeit suit? You are just like a dog playing dress-up", Harry said with a sly smile.
"How's that your business?", Chris replied flatly.
"You are right, we have no business together, but your wife.... that's a different story entirely. ", Harry replied.
Chris frowned a bit, "what story?", He asked.
Bystanders could not help but stop and listen to these men talk.
From last night a rumor had been going round the town.
The rumors had it that Nora's success, was a result of an intimate relationship with Harry Miller. Else, how best could they explain such a collaboration between the top Axel Group and the Bromwick Group.
And from how things were, the rumors seemed true, and highly believable.
On seeing the crowd increase in number, Harry saw an opportunity to fuel this rumor, "how do you think Nora won the contract with the Axel Group?", He asked aloud.
Chris looked at Harry, "how?", He asked coldly..
Harry smiled in cocky way, "obviously because of me! Cause Nora is currently mine, I put in my best to help her succeed in her negotiation! If there be any sense in you, divorce her as fast as you can..and save yourself any further embarrassment", Harry said aloud to the hearing of the public.
Even though the people had conceived and concluded it in their heart, they were stillw shocked to hear it from Harry.
It makes so much sense! Nora won the contract by having an affair with Harry.
"Really, because of you?", Chris said and chuckled. "Who on earth do you think you are?", Chris added.
