He further squinted, this time pulling the vines with phytokenisis.

Now he knew the person before him wasn't one of the men chasing him and so should know his abilities, so there was no need to hide them.

"Mom! Where have you been?",Miguel asked on as he used the vines to bring himself down.

Pow!

Like an elastic band, they stretch back, forcefully pulling him back to the way he was, this time stretching him further than it did before.

"Argh!!!", Miguel groaned in pain.

This was beyond him.

"I am not your mom! You know she's long dead!", the woman spoke firmly.

At this point, in pain and frustration, he grew angry.

With the addition of the abilities of Strength and Phytokenisis, he pulled himself from the vine and charged towards the woman who had been speaking.

In fear, she raised up some vines to obstruct him.

In fury and strength, Miguel broke through and was about to hold her when the monster from before held his hand.

As soon as he noticed this, he pushed it away as though it was nothing.

But suddenly, another from his left charged towards him. This time with a punch, it fell down and to his surprise there was no one covered up with vines, it was just an entire creature made with Phytokenisis.

He ignored this and quickly turned to the woman who had her face masked as well, as soon as he held her the coverage fell off.

"It's me!", She spoke out immediately.

"You!!", Miguel exclaimed in shock.

This was the last person Miguel expected to see.

Especially with the possession of such abilities; one whose Phytokenisis was stronger than his and on top of that, could create creatures using Phytokenisis, this was an act done by the ancient masters, Miguel had never seen it before.

"Why?! How?! What the Slash are you doing here?!", He questioned bewildered.

"I saw you escaping and followed you", she replied.

"Do you know how dangerous that was?!", Miguel replied.

"What's here to fear?!", She replied.

"Let go of me!", She yelled trying to push Miguel's hands off herself.

"You are finally in my hands, where no one can see us or find out what happened to you if anything is done and you expect me to let this opportunity slip away?!", He added.

Only then did she know how big of a mess she had gotten herself into.

"Who's truly responsible for the child?!", Miguel asked her.

"...and don't you dare lie to me!", Miguel added now lifting her off the floor.

"That hurts!", She screeched.

"If you don't tell me the truth, it's going to hurt a lot more!", Miguel added.

"You!!!", She further screeched in pain.

"More lies!!", Miguel spoke aloud as he increased his grip and was about to throw her away forcefully.

'Stop! Think!'

The still voice of Mercury re-echoed in his head.

'This wouldn't change anything!'

Like an angel had possessed him, he gently put her down, let go of her arms and said nothing.

"How am I responsible for this?!", He asked trying to sound calm.

"There's no time for this!", She said holding the arm Miguel had been holding.

"I know where you are going and I advise you move quick! Only in master Xenguy's mouth with the truth be believed!", She added.

"Meaning he lied?", Miguel asked.

"No! But he knows more that he told.....", She replied.

"So go! I have to hurry back and cover for you while you are away. This is the safest place in Quaila you can be!", She added.

Miguel stood there and was speechless and confused.

"Just go Miguel, I'll handle my father!", she replied.

"He must been in one of this buildings!", One person outside said as he opened the door.

"Wait...", She whispered and majestically walked forward.

"Miss Kayla!", The man who saw her greeted in shock.

"What are you doing here?", The man asked respectfully.

"I was walking by when I heard a scream in here!", She replied.

"When I got in, I saw this man....", She said as she led the man in to the man's body on the floor.

The man listening was surprised.

He had always admired her, but he admired her even more for her courage and selflessness.

Meanwhile, with vines, she had been directing Miguel to go behind the door.

"Get your men!", She added.

"Yes Miss Kayla!", He said, stepped out and called for them.

"Behind the door!", She whispered to Miguel as soon as the man left.

And in a moment, they were all inside the house and had walked to where the man laid on the floor; this was Miguel's exit opportunity.
