I already expelled this pla, I didn't even plan to do it to this extent. Why did she go this far?
"No more mercy!", I thought in my heart as I gritted my teeth in annoyance
I opened the counter and picked out a new bar of soap, unwrapped it and began to wash.
At this point I was so desperate, I scrubbed my hair from the roots with the soap. After turning on the shower and washing for a while, I looked back at the mirror, there was no change.
I looked at the soap frustrated. Only then did I realize that there was something written on it.
'BEST SERVED COLD!'
I threw the soap on the floor and screamed in tears: "Mom!!!!"
I heard the sound of the door bursting open, followed by mom's voice: "Katie! What's the matter?"
I said sobbing from inside the bathroom: "My hair!"
"What's wrong with your hair sweetie, don't you like it?!", she asked from the other side.
"Yeah Katie, don't you like it?!", I heard another voice ask with a shade of sacarsm and some hidden traces of laughter.
"You.....", I said growing more mad.
"Me?! What do I have to do with your hair?!", Kareen asked.
"Yeah Katie, what does Kareen have to do with this. Why you are always picking on ", mom asked.
At this time, I had put on my clothes, I couldn't find a towel so the clothes was quite wet.
I opened the door and went directly for Kareen as I blurted out, "You..."
On seeing me, mom too was thrown aback, "Katie... Your hair!", she said shocked as well.
"She did it!", I said as I rushed towards her.
"You look like a mad cow!", she said as she stuck her tongue and ran away.
I rushed out of the bathroom's hall as mom screamed our names aloud.
We ignored as the chase went on.
In the rage, I had completely forgetten where we were. I only realized when I got out.
I saw the 2 girls from before.
As soon as they saw me, they began to laugh uncontrollably.
Not only them, but some of the workers as well.
I felt so embarrassed. Not only was my hair a mess, my clothes was also a mess and it was wet.
I looked to the right and saw a mirror.
Only then could I clearly see that, I had a bit of soap in my ear and on my hair.
This has to be the worse day of my life.
I ran back to the bathroom, by the door was mom, who seemed to share in the pain I was feeling. I ignored her and rushed into the bathroom, sat down the floor and began to cry.
From where I wept, I could hear mom scold the workers.
"How could you guys do such a thing!", she said annoyed.
"Madam, we apologize, it must be a misunderstanding!", I heard the voice of Ms. Julie replying politely.
"Misunderstand your ass! Look at my daughter. You guys have humiliated and destroyed her hair and you are here talking about a misunderstanding. What's there to not understand?! Your services here is trash!", mom said more furiously.
"Madam, please don't say that.", Ms. Julie continued pleading.
"I should stop saying what you guys did, I should stop saying the truth!", mom got even more provoked.
At this time, another voice came up.
"Jessie, your hair!", followed by a scream.
"Oh my god, Raily, what have these guys done to my hair?", the girl screamed.
"See, another rubbish!", more said mom furiously.
"Jessie, quick, let's get out of here, who know what are they are going to do next!", the other girl said.
"Please wait!", i could hear Ms. Julie's pitiful voice saying.
Just then, another voice came up again, "Ms. Julie, here's the dress you requested for.", the other person said politely.
Ms. Julie was quiet for a while and suddenly seemingly regained herself.
"Madam, please give this to your daughter! As well as this. It's hair wash, it cost a few hundred dollars, but its on the house, we are so sorry.", Ms. julie apologized.
"We assure you that such wouldn't happen next time", she added.
"Next time! You can still open your tamed mouth and say next time. If I even get as far as the sign of this salon ever again, please welcome me in as Ms. Donkey!", mom said and stormed into the bathroom.
"Here! Please where this dear, let's get out of this God forsaken place!", she said as she handed me the nylon bag.
As I walked into one of the bathroom's to change, I overheard the usually calm and quiet Ms. Julie yelling.
"Who was in charge of the Monrow teen's hair and one one of the Kamot teens?!", she said aggressively.
I never would have been able to imagine this woman with such a man like aggressive baritone.
The workers remained quiet.
I couldn't help but feel bad for all of them.
This was obviously done by Kareen, including that of the Kamot teens, Kareen did it too. When she entered, they too laughed at her, this must be her way of getting back at them.
"You are all fired!", Ms. Julie said p_ssed.
"For your careless behaviour, we've lost almost a thousand dollars, and some well paying customers.", she said furiously.
"Ms. Julie, but....", one tried to speak.
Snap!!
The sound of a slap echoed everywhere.
"But what?!", Ms. Julie's baritone yelled.
At this time, I had finished wearing the dress they bought.
It was an orange plain gown, it didn't seem to be from any brand, but it looked quite decent.
I got out after packing my messy hair and making a ponytail out of it.
"Beauty, please don't mind them, forgive mom for taking you to such a place!", mom said as she pulled me gently by my arm out of the bathroom hall.
Immediately Ms. Julie saw us, she changed her voice and attitude again and said politely: "Younger Mrs. Monrow, please accept our sincere apology."
"Don't you dare come close to us!", mom said with a stern expression.
I stopped suddenly and said: "I won't press charges against you guys on one condition!"
Even though I really want to be nurse, for dad's sake, I've been studying and reading some law books for quite a while and so I know that these guys can actually be sued for such an act. Seeing how badly Ms. Julie is reacting to this, the last thing she wants is to loose more money.
"Please don't press charges, what's your condition?", Ms. julie asked now speaking normally.
There was neither the original official voice nor the deep baritone. Just the sound a young business woman trying to avoid huge losses.
On seeing this, I went on to say: "Please don't fire these people, I am sure they are sorry. Just check for the mistakes made and try to rectify it before I come back next time."
