Carla was touched upon hearing what her children said. Back then, Carla couldn't understand why her children trusted Zayn after she left for two years. After all, she raised the three kids single- handedly till they were four years old.
All the more so, the kids still missed the Giblo residence even after she had returned.
At that moment, Carla believed she found the answer.
Zayn devoted himself to taking care of the children and changed a lot for them. Besides, he worked hard and treated them sincerely to earn their trust bit by bit.
"Alright, let's have breakfast, " Zayn served up a bowl of vegetable beef soup for Carla and said to the kids, "Mommy is the greatest of all, for she was pregnant for ten months and risked her life to give birth to all of you. Suddenly, Dr. Feroma said to Zayn, "Mr. Giblo, I should thank you. When I met an accident two years ago, you arranged with the hospital management to provide treatment for me. Besides, you also took care of Hapilia and Sam."
Zayn responded, "You're welcome. Anyway, I should bear the responsibility because you met the accident partly because of the Giblo family."
"Whatever it is, thank you." Dr. Feroma proposed a toast with a cup of tea as a form of appreciation.
Zayn immediately raised his cup in response.
"When I met the accident two years ago, I was unconscious and didn't know what happened since then. However, I believe now that Mr. Giblo is a responsible man. Well, I hope I'm right!" Dr. Feroma said meaningfully.

Zayn was surprised that Dr. Feroma accepted him in such a short time.
"Dr. Feroma, please try it." Carla picked up a piece of rib for him and changed the subject. "We can take a stroll around the hill when we are free later. Also, feel free to go around this place except for the backyard."
"I took a glance at the backyard from the window yesterday. There seem to be some special flowers and plants in it. Besides, there are some special pets!" Dr. Feroma said.
"Well, Daemon raises them…"
Speaking of which, Carla reminded the kids, "Randy, Josh, and Venus. Remember not to go to the backyard, get it?"
"Got it, " the three kids answered in unison.
They were aware of the taboo ever since they met Daemon. Hence, they remembered it and wouldn't go near the backyard.
"Well, it seems to me that the legendary Mr. Lierger is a special man." After putting on a smile, Dr. Feroma said to Zayn, "It won't be easy to get along with the special bother-in-law in the future!"
Zayn was taken aback, for it was the first time someone discussed something like that with him.
Nevertheless, he thought Dr. Feroma's words served as a timely reminder for him.
Since Daemon was his brother-in-law, Zayn thought his family was deeply related to Daemon's. Also, he felt that his relationship with Carla would improve if he could get along with Daemon.
After all, only the elders of the Lierger and the Giblo families held grudges against one another. On the contrary, Daemon and Zayn didn't experience it and weren't affected. In other words, the hatred between the two families was not so intense to them.
The situation only worsened when something happened to Carla two years ago.
Hence, Zayn thought if Solara and Shelley were brought to justice, Carla could probably let go of her hatred. Under such circumstances, he believed it would be a turn for the better.
